INCANDESCENT Art Exhibition by Little Artists

28 September to 29 September 2019

Exhibition Date: 28-29 September 2019, 11am-8pm daily

Venue: Visual Arts Centre Exhibition Gallery

The INCANDESCENT Art Exhibition presented by Little Artists Art Studio showcases Volume III of a IV-Part INCANDESCENT Art Series at Visual Arts Centre from 28th-29th September 2019. The Visual Arts Centre is a glass-house Gallery set in the lush expanse of Dhoby Ghaut Green.

Built by the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore in 2016, the Visual Arts Centre is at the heart of the Arts & Heritage precinct, a main destination for experiencing the arts and cultural atmosphere of Singapore.  With a mission to spearhead and promote arts and cultural activities alongside community engagement in the arts, this is a Gallery dedicated to local and international visual arts and design exhibitions. Near to numerous art institutions, museums and schools (School Of The Arts, LASALLE College Of The Arts, Nanyang Academy Of Fine Arts, and the Singapore Art Museum), the Visual Arts Centre is placed especially well for emerging artists.

Little Artists is joining that distinguished contemporary history by exhibiting 200 specially selected young emerging artists over two days. Showcasing a multitude of mediums, including: paintings, sketches, and sculptures, this will be a vibrant ode to Visual Arts.

Incandescent means – brilliant, bright – a glorious title for rising artists displaying brilliance of expression.  Launching these emerging talents at the nexus of cultural and contemporary arts conversations in Singapore as we explore topics ranging from friendship to the future. This series was created to bring a new generation of artist thinkers under 20 into public awareness.

Incandescent Art will run from 28th-29th September 2019, from 11am-8pm daily.

The exhibition is free to enter – though we request participation in a $5 Raffle where partial proceeds go to Charity Partner, Pathlight School’s Artist Development Programme for autistic children. Three winners will be given amazing prizes, including: free Art Camp, free adult classes for a month, free children’s classes for half a month. Tickets available at the registration counter of the exhibition. Only those who enter can win – winners will be announced on the 29th September and do not need to be present to win.
Enjoy the show!
