Our art studio, conveniently located above Dhoby Ghaut MRT and nestled within the verdant Dhoby Ghaut Green Park, is a wonderful place for individuals to learn about art.
Visual Arts Centre is a 5500 square feet glass-house exhibition gallery and art studio located directly above the Dhoby Ghaut MRT and housed within the beautiful, lush green habitat of Dhoby Ghaut Green.
All art supplies and materials are provided when you’re taking a course.
Join us for this 3.5H Watercolour Painting Masterclass guided and led by the eminent Singaporean Watercolour painting master Ong Kim Seng himself!
This workshop is conducted at an open air environment, with shelter and good ventilation with fans. In the beginning of the workshop, there is a 45minutes of botanical and architectural sketching, followed by nearly three full hours of studying and practising watercolour painting.
Highlights:
– Watch the master demonstrate and explain important compositional tips
– Grasp the ability to simplify from your observation, identify and capture light – special techniques of Ong Kim Seng
– Pick up intermediate to advanced watercolour painting tips and ask the master any questions you may have!
– Enjoy a fun and engaging workshop, and fret not even if you are a beginner!
(There’ll be a resident art instructor to support and guide you on your artwork too!)
