48 Sessions include Drawing and Sketching, Watercolour Painting and Acrylic Painting.
This course is suitable for all levels, especially for those who are keen to build an Artist Portfolio, or a Portfolio for school submission. In this Express 48 Sessions Art Immersion Course, students will be provided with a solid foundation in Drawing and Sketching, Watercolour Painting and Acrylic Painting, and we will coach and guide students for Portfolio Preparation, or to strengthen their skills and techniques in building towards an independent career as an artist. Other mediums such as mixed media collage, clay/other medium sculpture moulding, three-dimension art may be explored and students will have to prepare their own art materials for learning beyond the three mediums provided (Drawing and Sketching, Watercolour Painting and Acrylic Painting)
Students progressively develop a higher level of skills and proficiency in art, depending on the medium(s) of their focus and learning.
Students who choose Drawing and Sketching with a painting medium is able to develop an intermediate or higher competency level, and would be able to manage harder subjects such as: advanced landscape drawing or painting, portrait and plaster casts.
Attend art classes at any of our schedules twice a week for this Express course! Through these 48 sessions of guided art classes, learners can look forward to gain an intermediate to advanced level of competency for their choice of medium. They can also gain an intermediate level of competency across multiple mediums. Moreover, one can also anticipate being exposed to more techniques and skills through the 48 sessions! This ranges from learning the basics to the more advanced techniques of handling each medium. Hence, learners can also look forward to being able to complete many pieces of artworks that they can bring home thereafter!
For students who are looking to try out all mediums, or would like to find the medium for your choice, you can look froward to grasping the foundation level of all mediums. For students who are looking to be really well versed in one medium (e.g. being really good at acrylic painting or drawing and sketching), we would recommend you to dedicate all sessions to focus and learn that sole medium, until you are well acquainted with it. Should you like to focus on one medium itself, you may reach a beginner – intermediate level of competency.

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
