Here at Visual Arts Centre, we want to ensure to provide you the best quality online session(s) with in-depth professional teaching by our art instructors. If you are interested in picking up a new skill during this pandemic, be it Acrylic Painting, Chinese Ink Painting, Drawing & Sketching (Landscape/Portrait), Watercolour Painting) – We are here to help you, each session we cover the basic fundamentals of the brushes use and practice some shapes and proportions so that you do not get lost while doing your final sketch with our instructors. We want you to feel satisfied and happy with your work after every session you participate in. Our sessions are:
Professional Acrylic Painting – Zoom Online
Acrylic Painting is a set of Zoom Online Art Classes conducted by Visual Arts Centre Singapore, suitable for beginners to advanced levels, including Acrylic Painting Landscape Painting I / II / III / IV. The Saturday and Sunday Part 1/2 & Part 2/2 is to be taken together to complete the artwork, Zoom Online Art Classes by Visual Arts Centre is ongoing, our VAC ZOOM LIVE Art Sessions Calandar is till 30 June 2020. Our usual Art Studio lessons will resume from 2 June 2020.
Professional Acrylic Painting – Zoom Online
The Acrylic Painting Zoom Online Art Class is an interactive art session conducted in a clear and guided manner by Visual Arts Centre’s professional art instructor(s) and include step by step demonstration, with art learners being able to follow through the steps, receive tips and guidance at each step and be able to complete an artwork at the end of 2Hours and 15Minutes. With an artwork completed at the end of each session, you can choose and pick any four sessions to attend at $180 nett only, or attend one single session at $75nett. The art class has a 5-15pax capacity and is suitable for teenagers and adult learners of all ages and experience.You learn about setup and materials, colour mixing, pigment choice, brush-handling and palette-knife techniques. Once that’s out of the way, you’re then encouraged to complete the painting with the instructor together with the class!
Right at the start of your art journey, and want to know the basics of drawing and sketching? No problem, our drawing sketching sessions will guide you in dealing with multiple proportions and perspectives as well as shadows and highlights throughout each session.

Finish one Chinese ink painting work on a mounted fan in one session and learn classical subjects, birds and flowers!

Chinese Ink Painting is a set of Zoom Online Art Class conducted by Visual Arts Centre Singapore, suitable for beginners to advanced levels, including Chinese Ink Painting Fan Painting I – Plum Blossoms/ II – Chrysanthemum/ III – Orchids/ IV – Bamboo. VAC ZOOM Live Art Sessions is available from 8 April to 4 May inclusive, and caters for beginners to advanced levels.

Watercolour Painting Art Course is a series of Watercolour Painting classes which takes beginners and even those with prior experience in painting on a fruitful learning journey to learn professional Watercolour Painting techniques and to use these techniques to complete a painting each session. Over 12 weeks, each week will cover a different subjects, with varying methods and applications discussed, explained and demonstrated. Watercolour Painting Art Course continues till 30 June 2020.

Watercolour Painting Art Course conducted by Visual Arts Centre Singapore is suitable for beginners to advanced levels, and suitable for ten years old and above. Watercolour Painting classes are to be attended on Thursday night (7.30pm-9.45pm). Attendees may join at any weeks over the twelve weeks duration and are advised to take up eight sessions for an immersive and complete Watercolour Painting learning experience.

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
