Is your child getting a year wiser? Their birthday deserves to be the highlight of their year! Join us at Visual Arts Centre in an art jamming session to celebrate their birthday because it’s never too late to expand their creative mind!
Creating art is a reminder for us to be fully present in the moment and what better way to create special bonds with our loved ones than to bring out the creative side together! With no prior skill required, an art jamming party is the perfect way to bring your kids together in a fun and unique manner, no matter the age! Whether it is a messy painting session for your little ones or a more intricate cloth design for your teens, art jamming is the best way to celebrate your birthday and creativity!
We would like to invite you to express yourself and make the special day as memorable as ever!
T-shirt painting art jamming party
Take a step away from canvases and paper! The t-shirt painting would include an immersive experience for children to design and paint their own t-shirts. By starting out with big ideas you will have a wonderful t-shirt to take home and wear by the end of the party!
Acrylic art jamming birthday party
With a theme of your choice, the acrylic art jamming is a fun workshop style party for kids and teens to engage their imaginations. This painting session involves a guided class in order for the children to take away their very own completed art creations by the end
Sand art birthday party
This party idea takes on the concept of Rangoli art and involves a fun and expressive sand art jamming. Learning and gaining an appreciation for the cultural significance of Rangoli, participants would create patterns and motifs using glue and sand. Embracing the mindfulness of Rangoli, participants can spend their time with sand art exploration and jamming.
Clay modelling, moulding and jumping clay birthday party
This is an opportunity for kids and teens to dive hands first into clay modelling and sculpting. The jamming session would involve the participants choosing characters or forms that they want to create and go ahead and innovate and have fun with sculpting. This is a great way to improve spatial awareness while relaxing and having fun.
Graffiti art jamming birthday party
Grab your spray cans and get ready to have a blast! The graffiti art jamming session is a great way for young ones to indulge their wild sides through the use of spray paints and stencils to create unique pieces.
Batik cloth design and painting art jamming party
Batik is a technique of dyeing fabric using wax. Originating from Indonesia, Batik uses dots and lines to create patterns on the cloth. In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
