近期新加坡艺术培训课程日渐火热,有些成人作为兴趣爱好选修绘画课,有些青少年学生想要报读艺术美院,现在学习绘画课作为基本功训练,有些学生就是参加课程学习如何准备作品集,有些学生想拿DSA计划,凭美术特长加分进入理想中学,现在来参加绘画课,种种原因,国人学习艺术的人群增多,画画班也多了一些。在东部,靠近马琳百列、加东、如切、淡滨尼一代有好多儿童画画班,现在东部的青少年小朋友们有福了,新加坡视觉艺术中心专业绘画课开在东部了,就在 Paya Lebar 附近AZ@Paya lebar 大厦里,搭地铁黄线或蓝线,麦波申地铁站 A 出口,出来走20米就看到了,交通十分方便。
视觉艺术中心专业绘画课程包括:基础素描、速写、专业素描静物写生、素描风景写生、速写风景、素描人物写生;油画静物、油画风景、油画人物写生;水彩静物、水彩人物、水彩风景;丙烯风景、丙烯静物;水墨花鸟、水墨山水;人体写生、肖像写生;

视觉艺术中心聘用的老师都是专业美术学院毕业,目前共有8位教师。这几位教师有的是本地知名画家,教学经验丰富,针对青少年量身定制绘画课程,为青少年未来报读艺术学院打下坚实基础,为了青少年顺利升学,视觉艺术中心为学生报读美术学院开设了艺术作品集准备的培训课程,从学生的基本功、绘画技巧到学生独立创作;最后如何呈现作品集和如何应对面试的培训,让学生能在短时间内完成作品集,帮助学生顺利升入理想的美术学院。
视觉艺术中心的画室一个是在AZ@ Paya Lebar #03-04,另一个画室在市区中心多美歌地铁上方,多美歌公园中。学生可以选择不同地点的画室,也可以选择每个星期不同时间段上课。

Visual Arts Centre is an exhibition gallery and art studio at Dhoby Ghaut Green supported by the National Parks Board and the National Arts Council.
Since its initiation on 31 January 2016, the Visual Arts Centre Exhibition Gallery has hosted over two hundred international and local art and design exhibitions, boasting a diverse range of art styles and programmes.

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
