Drawing and illustration of the interiors and spaces is an enjoyable subject to an artist, and may be practised in art journaling, and as an art form of its own.
Four Sessions Course of 2H 15Mins per Session to introduce you into the world of interior drawing, sketching and illustration!
Learning Objectives:
> Be introduced to drawing interior spaces and various subjects
– Learn about one-point and two-point perspective and learn interior drawings fulfilling rules of perspective
> Learn tonal and line drawings of the interiors – practise black and white illustration and coloured illustration (using watercolour painting)
> Attain a confidence in completing simple interior drawings
> Finish multiple sketches, and a complete work in each class through the four sessions, workshop styled classes
> All classes are conducted live via Zoom, with step by step art demonstration and instruction by VAC’s professional art instructor
Course Duration: 4 Sessions – 2H 15Min/Session
Date/Time: Every Sun, 1pm-3:15pm (Singapore time GMT +8) from 03 Oct to 24 Oct 2021 inclusive
Cost: $220nett / 4 Sessions inclusive of art materials set and courier of $40nett – with watercolour and drawing materials.
Art materials provided: Assorted drawing pencils (6 pieces), kneaded eraser, classic eraser, sketch book, pen liners (2 pieces – 0.1 & 0.3), watercolour paints, mixing plates, high quality drawing/watercolour paper
Full art materials set provided for delivery to SG addresses. Course fee is inclusive of the art materials and courier delivery.

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
