Art Fiesta 2022
An Initiative by Tista Art Gallery for Local Artists and Young Talent
An art exhibition initiated by the artists for the artists,
featuring emerging and established artists from across the fraternity
Tista Art Gallery is proud to present Singapore’s next big art exhibition, Art Fiesta
2022. Whether you are an aficionado of abstract art, or just an admirer of all things
beautiful, be sure not to miss this exhibition in the festive season.
Created by two artists, Sonal & Megha, Tista Art Gallery’s Art Fiesta Exhibition
aims to provide a platform for artists to come together to showcase their art, interact
with art enthusiasts, and sell their work. The Exhibition will showcase artworks of 19
talented artists and 15 young budding artists. Over 80 artworks on display will
showcase varied mediums like oils, Acrylics, watercolours, Pastels, resin & mixed
media, and different genres of Art. The participating artists have their own unique
styles, which will be brought seamlessly together to create and celebrate a true
Symphony in Colours.
There will be a Young Artist Exhibit which aims to encourage Art among Kids and
an Art for a cause- Community Canvas Painting which will be done by all art
enthusiasts & visitors during the exhibition and this canvas will be auctioned to raise
funds & awareness for the chosen local charity HOME. VIP night will be hosted on
15th October for all art enthusiasts in Singapore.
Art Fiesta 2022 also supports Arzoo Initiative charity, which aims at providing
education for under privileged children in India & Singapore.
Patrons will be encouraged to engage with their favourite artists and participate in the
following workshops.

Visual Arts Centre is an exhibition gallery and art studio at Dhoby Ghaut Green supported by the National Parks Board and the National Arts Council.
Since its initiation on 31 January 2016, the Visual Arts Centre Exhibition Gallery has hosted over two hundred international and local art and design exhibitions, boasting a diverse range of art styles and programmes.

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
