It’s 2024! If you have recently discovered that your children have been drawing and sketching all over their textbooks and worksheets, it is definitely time to sign them up for some kids art lessons! This is the time for when you start off a new year for your kids with a new found passion and talent. Calling out to all little Andy Warhol and Picassos of this new generation!
Your child might have just discovered and found a love for drawing and sketching and painting right this moment.
To put it simply, kids are really just little small humans, filled with immense amount of energy and creativity bursting at the seams. Over here at Visual Arts Centre, not only do we NOT contain the explosion of creativity, we harness these little gems and cultivate their love and interest for drawing and sketching and painting.
At Visual Arts Centre, we provide art courses suitable for all age groups and levels so why not sign them up for art courses, where they can paint, draw and sketch with their peers of similar age in our very conducive and comfortable environment at Visual Arts Centre Art Studio.

At the recent World Economic Forum, when questioned how to deal with job losses due to automation, Jack Ma gave an answer that was surprising but true.
“I think we should teach our kids sports, music, painting – the arts – to make sure that they are different. Everything we teach should make them different from machines.”
This, coming from the head of Alibaba, is huge!
While automation will eventually be taken over by machines, creation of art from one’s hands and inspiration flowing out of one’s mind can never be something that machines will be better at. The gift of art and allowing your kids to discover their talent themselves is the best gift you could ever give them.
As the famous author Kurt Vonnegut once said,
“Go into the arts. I’m not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake…Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will created something.”
The good news is that Visual Arts Centre has a CLASS for our hugely anticipated Kids Immersion Art Course. This new class will be on Tuesdays, 3:30pm-5:00pm and 4:30pm-6:00pm and on Sundays, 11:15pm-12:45pm. Indeed a perfect timing to harvest the creativity waiting to burst out of your kids after an amazing brunch or before an early dinner with the family!
So what are you waiting for? Enrol your kids to the art courses here at Visual Arts Centre and who knows, your kid might be the next Leonardo Da Vinci or even JMW Turner! Wouldn’t your lives be absolutely colourful?
