Art can be used as a relevant subject under your T-Score, which all Art & Design diplomas or degrees will accept as a relevant subject to enrol. It is also helpful in providing relevant experience or developing projects you can mention in interviews or portfolios. It would also provide you with a higher standing against other applicants. It is not compulsory, but it will definitely give you a step ahead of your competition!
The syllabus or assessment for O-Level/N-Level/A-Level Art will vary by school. Generally, each candidate will need to create at least one original artwork as a result of preparation boards/coursework to submit. Students will be judged according to their creative process, originality, idea, technical skills, aesthetic appeal and concept development.
With the help of Visual Arts Centre, we can help develop your technical artistic skills and creative thinking skills to score higher within O-Level/N-Level/A-Level Art.

Drawing and sketching takes much practice and patience. When you sketch, you have to concentrate and focus on your work to produce the best outcome. This is especially so, when you are working on a life drawing and sketching piece. When sketching from life, you want to capture all the details of the object and the form in one sitting. Hence, while learning drawing and sketching, you will find yourself being able to focus and work on tasks for longer periods of time – therefore, allowing you to exercise your basic art skills at the same time.
