Beginner Oil Painting course will involve 24 classes and within these sessions, you will be able to learn:
1) how to paint the plaster casts and learn about the proportion and structure of the facial features of the character’s head, the relationship between the plaster casts and the background, and also apply the correct colour for both the subjects and the surrounding colour around the settings.
2) Painting still life with complex colour schemes, such as colourful background fabrics, ceramic bowls, white vase with yellow roses.
3) For students with higher level of painting skills, you will be able to learn new painting skills by copying the master pieces, painting your own landscape photos, learn about the perspective of nature landscape, such as mountains, rocks, tree, forests and rivers.

课程内容包括静物写生、实地风景写生、临摹优秀作品、真人模特肖像写生、创作等。适合初学者学习及各种绘画水准提升。
油画基础班24节课 — 课程内容:
1)在初级班基础上开始学习油画石膏写生,学习头部解剖结构与透视变化规律,学习白色石膏像和背景关系,在表象固有色的同时,大胆体现环境色以及明暗关系,表现石膏的立体感、质感、观感。
2)综合训练复杂色彩的静物写生,如对彩色背景布、彩色土罐、白色花盆、黄玫瑰等较难的静物刻划。
3)对程度较高的学生开始学习风景写生、临摹优秀大师作品、画旅游风景图片,学习风景透视、风景画远近的色彩规律、山川、岩石、树木、河流的绘画技巧。

The following art courses are for the Art Immersion Course and Acrylic painting course. The art courses are available at both our Dhoby Ghaut Art Studio and MacPherson Art Studio, please choose your preferred location.

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
