“The Way I Faced Myself, Have You Faced It?” is the third art album by Singaporean youth author Taro Chua.
In this new art album, Taro adopts a mature and profound perspective to depict how, when faced with confusion, uncertainty, and life’s choices, one returns to one’s inner self to understand one’s predicaments, choices, and desires. The works are imbued with a fiery determination, whilst retaining the sensitivity and sincerity of a young artist towards life’s minutiae.
This book is suitable for readers of all ages and backgrounds. It is also an excellent choice for bookstores, art & cultural spaces, and educational institutions seeking to promote deep reading and meaningful dialogue, guiding individuals to explore themselves more deeply and move forward towards the future.

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
