Watercolour Painting (Portrait) workshop conducted by Michael Britton via Zoom
Beginning with a cobalt blue underpainting you will learn how to develop
the optical grisaille that has a mother-of-pearl luminescence. From
there you will process step-by-step with alternating warm and cool
washes to develop realist flesh tones in watercolor. You will be
working from Michael’s photo reference.

About Michael Britton
Michael Britton is a New York City trained artist (New York Academy of Art). He has taught several thousand artists, some of whom have gone on to full-time art careers as painters and teachers throughout his several decades long career. Britton was the Artistic Director of the Vancouver Academy of Art, Canada for six years and has also taught drawing for Walt Disney Studios. Not only is he an artist, but also the author of several art-training videos including Painting Clara Serena.
