We have just the right Zoom Art Class for your kids this month! Kicking start Our Tropical Forest – a 4 sessions Zoom live Art Class every Sunday, 11:00am – 12:30pm, Begins from 03 Oct to 24 Oct inclusive.
(1) Be introduced to drawing the plants and animals of the Tropical Rainforest
(2) Learn colour blending, mixing for acrylic painting
(3) Learn foundational brush stroke techniques to acrylic painting and practise these skills during the 4 session course
(4) Complete two painting of “Our Tropical Rainforest”, including student’s own subjects and compositions of their rainforest painting
Our Tropical Forest is specially tailored for kids of five to ten years old, and we’ve also taken into account of the challenges of Zoom, having plenty of Zoom live class experiences since last year! This art programme comes with theoretical knowledge, warm ups and step by step guidance and art demonstration, fully guiding kids to learn and do art together with our friendly and professional kids art instructors!
After class, art students can continue to work on their artworks with the help of the tips and guidance given to them. Parents are welcome to supervise or leave their children with us for this Zoom art lesson, and to assist them with the set up and art materials. Art materials required are easily obtainable.

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
