Caricature drawing is a creative form of portrait art that playfully exaggerates a person’s most distinctive features while still keeping them recognizable. Instead of focusing on strict realism, the artist highlights unique traits such as large eyes, a wide smile, prominent nose, or expressive hairstyle, enhancing them for humorous or dramatic effect. A successful caricature relies on strong observation skills, as the artist must capture both physical likeness and personality. Whether created in quick black-and-white sketches or detailed coloured illustrations, caricatures are lively and expressive. They are especially popular at events, festivals, and tourist spots, where live artists create fun, personalized portraits. Beyond humor, caricature drawing celebrates individuality, turning everyday faces into memorable and entertaining works of art. Explore caricature drawing of yourself and friends/family during the trip in Singapore, bring back a meaningful piece!
