This exhibition, The Show Must Go On, brings together artworks by Jacqueline Wang created between 2019 and 2026. Across this body of work, she reflects on the nature of love—its persistence as well as its vulnerability and fragility. Drawing from personal experiences, fears, and emotional states, Jacq examines her inner world while also finding inspiration in the muses that shape her life.
Deeply influenced by Surrealism and Pointillism, her practice is guided by automatism and fuelled by a vivid imagination. Dreamlike visions unfold through rich colours and intricate details, often giving rise to unexpected juxtapositions of imaginary creatures and surreal elements.
A Singapore-based artist, Jacq has trained under various instructors at Art Dimension, ArtSpace, NAFA, and LASALLE, as well as in the UK and Europe.
