Our Art Immersion course is perfect for those who wants to pick up your skill in drawing and painting or want to advance your skills in professional drawing and painting. You have the flexibility to learn up to 3 Mediums – Pencil Drawing and Sketching, Watercolour, and Acrylic.
Suitable for beginners/intermediate to advanced learners. Our courses and objectives run according to a structured curriculum under a guided approach. Our most popular course is 24 sessions Art Immersion Course (valid for 26 weeks) and 12 sessions Art Immersion Course (valid for 14 weeks).
The 24 Sessions Art Immersion course allows learners to learn 3 mediums – Drawing and sketching, Acrylic painting and/or Watercolour painting. This offers art students the flexibility to explore multiple mediums and develop their art proficiency.
For the period of 26 weeks of the course, the student can achieve intermediate level of one preferred medium. For example, a student practice both Pencil Sketching and Acrylic Painting in 24 lesson course. He/she will achieve intermediate competency in Acrylic Painting, while having strong basics in Pencil Sketching.
The topic of the course covers landscape, still life object, portrait, and can be tailored according to the student’s interest and requirements.

– Regular VAC Art Students may use 1 STUDIO Art Sessions to exchange for 1 ZOOM LIVE Art Session.
Art Materials List:
(1) Set of drawing pencils – HB, 2B, 4B, 6B (any brand)
(2) A3 Drawing paper – preferably with a bit of roughness and texture
(3) Soft eraser (any erasers, Pentel is easy to use)

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
