Landscape Sketching Live Zoom Class (Schedule: Every Thursday, 11am – 1.15pm):
Drawing and sketching is a set of Zoom Online Art Class conducted by Visual Arts Centre Singapore, suitable for beginners to advanced levels, including Still Life drawing and sketching, Landscape drawing and sketching, Portrait drawing and sketching. VAC ZOOM Live Art Sessions is available from 8 April to 3o June inclusive, and caters for beginners to advanced levels.
The Drawing and sketching Zoom Online Art Class is an interactive art session conducted in a clear and guided manner by Visual Arts Centre’s professional art instructor(s) and include step by step demonstration, with art learners being able to follow through the steps, receive tips and guidance at each step and be able to complete an artwork at the end of 2Hours and 15Minutes. With an artwork completed at the end of each session, you can choose and pick any four sessions to attend at $180 nett only, or attend one single session at $75 nett. The art class has a 5-15pax capacity and is suitable for teenagers and adult learners of all ages and experience.

Portrait Drawing Live Zoom Class (Schedule: Every Wednesday, 11am – 1.15pm):
(Every Wed/Thu 11am-1:15pm, each session will take on a different topic and learners will complete one work at the end of each session)

In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
