Experience the CHIJMES Projection Mapping for Singapore Night Festival 2026

As part of the Singapore Night Festival 2026, CHIJMES Hall becomes the canvas for an immersive projection mapping experience, transforming the iconic heritage façade into a spectacular display of light, colour, and storytelling.

This year’s projection, “Textures through Time”, explores the evolving identity of CHIJMES through a journey across Singapore’s past, present, and future. Inspired by the textures, materials, and visual languages of different eras—from traditional woven patterns and colonial architecture to print culture, contemporary street art, digital technology, and future creative possibilities—the projection reveals how every generation leaves its own unique mark while building upon stories that came before.

As the historic walls come alive with vibrant animations, intricate patterns, and evolving light installations, visitors are invited to experience heritage through a contemporary artistic lens. The projection celebrates creativity, cultural memory, and the enduring spirit of storytelling, making CHIJMES one of the must-visit destinations during the Singapore Night Festival.

Neon Glow Art Jamming invites festival-goers into a vibrant outdoor celebration of creativity, colour, and connection at the CHIJMES Mini Lawn. Set against the illuminated heritage architecture of CHIJMES, the experience transforms the lawn into an open-air creative space where glowing neon paints, expressive mark-making, and bursts of colour come together in an immersive evening of art-making
