Join us for an exclusive plein air watercolour painting workshop led by renowned master painter Ong Kim Seng, one of Singapore’s most respected watercolour artists. Taking place on 15 March 2026, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, this immersive outdoor session will be held in the historic surroundings of Chinatown, offering participants a rich urban landscape to paint from life.
Participants will meet at 20B Mosque Street, before moving on-site for the plein air session. Under Ong Kim Seng’s guidance, participants will learn how to observe and interpret real environments through watercolour—focusing on light, atmosphere, composition, and expressive brushwork. The workshop includes live demonstrations, practical techniques, and personalised guidance drawn from the artist’s decades of professional experience.
Designed for watercolour enthusiasts, art students, and practising artists, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to study plein air painting directly with a master. Participants will gain deeper insight into translating everyday urban scenes into confident, atmospheric watercolour works.
The workshop fee is $180 nett per participant, inclusive of all art materials, making it a fully guided and accessible learning experience in one of Singapore’s most culturally vibrant districts.
