The Expressive Nude: Harmony in Abstract by Michael Britton – 2 Sessions
The Nude has been an important theme of study in art for centuries. In this workshop, let’s take a twist in how we look at the nude subject, and our approach to nude art with abstraction and perhaps expressionism.
Let’s rediscover the nude subject, explore the abstract expression of the nude, and achieve harmony in our painting, creating a work that we’re proud of. Perhaps your new masterpiece to adorn your bedroom or corridor.
In this 2.5 Hour workshop, you’ll learn about colour harmony and the seven contrasts of painting such as the contracst between light and dark, colour temperature and values, and learn about the importance of the abstract structural surface, what it is and how you can achieve a dynamic ASS in your painting.
Be guided by master artist Michael Britton on your journey to create an abstract nude painting.
Art Materials: This workshop inclusive of one 40x50cm canvas for two sessions and two 40x50cm canvases for four sessions to be home delivered to a SG address.
