Looking for a Holiday Art Class during March, May to June, September , November to Dec school holidays? Look no further, Visual Arts Centre’s Holiday Youth Art Immersion Course is a perfect programme for your child to explore new mediums and build up their foundational art techniques.  This fully immersive holiday art class programme allows your young teens to dip their toes into learning and practising art. Whether it is to pick up visual art as a new hobby or to get a kick-start in building up an Visual Art Portfolio for admission into an art school in the future under DSA ( Direct School Admissions) or university admission, the Holiday Art Immersion Course for youth is perfect to provide a quick and immersive experience in art training!

This holiday, we are offering two paths for students interested in signing up for a Holiday Art Class Programme with us!

We offer a full range of art class mediums for youths to explore and learn with us!

Professional art courses should never be boring. At Visual Arts Centre, we provide opportunities for your child to develop artistic knowledge and skills through a range of media, forms and expressions. Students will be able to experience different art mediums to help elevate their creative juices and to grow to be independent in their learning.

YOUTH Holiday Art Immersion Course

In this Youth Holiday Art Immersion Programme, your youth would be able to explore up to 3 types of art mediums and works – Drawing and Sketching, Acrylic Painting and Watercolour Painting!

Visual Arts Centre’s Art Immersion Course is aimed to expose youths to various art mediums and techniques that are common in Fine Arts Training! This course allows them to dip their toes into Fine Arts and have a feel of how it would be like to learn art academically.

In this Holiday Art Immersion Programme, choose amongst 3 mediums:

  • Acrylic Painting
  • Watercolour Painting
  • Drawing & Sketching

8 sessions ($698nett with all art materials provided): Pick the themes that you are interested to experience!

Art Exploration Series – YOUTH Holiday Art Immersion Course

In this Youth Holiday Art Immersion Programme, your youth would be able to explore up to 3 types of mediums and works!

The Art Exploration Series has the aim to help kids explore the various mediums of art outside of the fine-arts learning that we have as part of our ongoing courses. It allows them the opportunity to be in touch with different forms of art, and find out a new niche that is to their interest! Build up their creative minds and open up new possibilities, as well as let them have a space to fully explore their inner thoughts and creativity!

Choose the mediums/styles of art for your kid’s creative immersion (A unique artwork will be finished in two to three classes, depending on the medium)

  • Acrylic Painting
  • Manga and Coloured Illustration

All art materials are provided for this course! Parents and kids can choose up to three types of mediums/styles of artworks under the Holiday Art Immersion Course.

At Visual Arts Centre, we believe that each student learns at a different pace. Thus, the class is conducted at their individual preference and abilities. They will be taught according to their preferred mediums and will be given individual guidance by our professional art instructors.

Our Approach

At Visual Arts Centre, we believe that each child learns at a different pace. Thus, each class will be conducted at your teen’s individual preference and abilities. No workshop style classes nor classroom styled teaching! Despite being in class with other students, your child will be taught according to their preferred mediums and will be given individual guidance by our professional instructors and studio assistants in regular intervals during the duration of each class.

Course Description

YOUTH Holiday Art Immersion Course

  • Students are recommended to come for at least 2 sessions per week to join this Youth Holiday Art Immersion Course
  • Choose up to 3 types of mediums/themes of art for your kid’s creative immersion
  • Choose 2 fixed schedules and have the flexibility of schedule adjustments
  • Validity: 8 Sessions – 8 Weeks | 12 Sessions – 12 Weeks

Registration & Fees

This workshop is only available at our Dhoby Ghaut Art Studio

Validity of the courses are: 8 Sessions – 8 Weeks  | 12 Sessions – 12 Weeks. All sessions are to be completed within the course duration stated. No refunds are provided for any courses/workshops/lesson purchased. Further extension of course validity of up to one month only may be provided with proof of overseas travel, hospitalization/medical certificate.

The course package(s) is/are valid within the stated from the date of registration. Each session under the adult course package is 2 hours 15 minutes. Visual Arts Centre reserves the right to reject/reschedule your lesson if you are late. Visual Arts Centre reserves the right to cancel/reschedule/postpone any course/session without prior notice. In the event that the course is unable to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of the fees will be provided. The registrant/guardian of the registrant indemnifies and hold Visual Arts Centre and/or its staff harmless from any losses sustained from any activity within the premises of Visual Arts Centre, including personal injury/loss or damages to property.
